Our practice is a long established small animal clinic located in the shopping precinct of Green Island, Dunedin. Scott Drummond has owned the practice since 2001.
As well as providing a friendly, modern veterinary service, we take very seriously our professional "Duty Of Care" to you and your animal. As a client or prospective client of our practice, we promise to:
- Listen to your concerns and examine your animal thoroughly,
- Provide you with a plan for the healthcare of your pet before any care is provided,
- Answer any questions regarding the care to be provided,
- Provide you with a detailed list of the costs for the healthcare,
- Update you on the progress of your pet as the care is provided,
- Update you on any projected changes to the cost of care before they occur,
- Abide by the Code of Professional Conduct of the Veterinary Council of NZ,
- We are an experienced and enthusiastic veterinary team of four Veterinarians complemented by five Veterinary Nurses. All the vets have had extensive experience in small animal practice both here in NZ and in the UK. We treat Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Rats, Mice, and Guinea Pigs. Our focus is on providing up to date, personal veterinary care and support to our patients and their owners.
Veterinarian and practice owner, Scott Drummond, purchased the clinic in 2001 and has invested heavily in diagnostic and surgical equipment to offer clients comprehensive services. These services include ultrasound, digital Xray, endoscopy, ECG, in-house haematology and biochemistry, high-speed dentistry, blood and eye pressure monitoring and more.
Our Vets and Vet Nurses are also regular attendees at Continuing Education events for the Veterinary Profession.
