We operate on appointment basis to ensure our veterinarians have dedicated time to care for your pets. We offer extended consultations of 30 minutes, for an additional fee, for those that require extra care and support.
If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call us right away. This allows us to triage our schedule and prepare to assist your pet with the immediate attention they need. Emergencies will be seen as a priority.
An emergency is any sudden, unforeseen injury, illness or complication in an animal, demanding immediate or early veterinary treatment to save life or to provide timely relief from unreasonable or unnecessary pain or distress.
Yes. We expect payment for all treatments at the time of the appointment or when your pet is discharged from the clinic.
The clinic provides access to after hours emergency veterinary care. Please call the clinic +64 3 488 2690. The answer phone will give you the number of the Vet on call. We do share after hours duties with other clinics in town, so it is important that you listen carefully to all of the after hours message to ensure you have a clear idea of who the duty vet is and which clinic will provide the service.
We accept cash, EFT-POS, Afterpay, Visa, Mastercard and Q Mastercard. We do not accept American Express. We do not accept internet banking without prior arrangement.
We strongly recommend pet medical insurance to help cover unexpected veterinary bills. Regular healthy checks and vaccinations, good food and exercise will help prevent problems developing . Early detection of problems usually results in better and cheaper treatment.
