This technique is already widely used in human surgery and leading veterinary hospitals around the world, and we’re excited to bring its benefits to pets in our region. What Is a Laparoscopic Spay?
A laparoscopic spay uses two or three tiny incisions to insert specialized instruments and a high-definition camera into the abdomen. This allows the surgeon to remove the ovaries with exceptional precision while keeping internal trauma to an absolute minimum.
Because the procedure uses high-tech equipment and requires advanced training, it provides far better visibility of the internal organs than traditional surgery. This ensures a safer, more accurate operation for your dog.
Benefits of a Laparoscopic Spay

Incisions are typically 0.5–1cm, compared with 8–12cm for a traditional spay.
